Excerpt from the book:
\"They parted tearfully as Valor turned and crashed through the undergrowth, shrieking and yelling, creating enough din for four. 'Come on you heinous fiends lunch is served.' He screamed. His charge was an act of utter bravery as the enemy alerted to the final death throes of their target rushed, unthinking, headlong to what they considered to be their triumph. The irrational move was a weakness that would serve to undermine this hateful society now and far into the future. Their rashness at the edge of success gave rise to a stampede, an interest entirely motivated by a covetousness of death and blood. It was to give Mallor and his remaining two friends, Sej and Mas, chance to slip away in the opposite direction. Secreted from view, covered in a camouflage of foliage, they watched with consternation as the ranting mob pursued Valor. The weight of the force passed close by as Mallor indicated to the other two to move out with as little noise as possible. Stealthily they moved further away from the screams of outrage as the hunters realised their folly.\"
